The list of Tyler Perry films continue to get longer, and recently Lionsgate announced his next film, which will star Taraji P. Henson. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Henson will star in “Tyler Perry’s She’s Living My Life,” which is scheduled to be released on March 30th of next year.
According to the synopsis, Henson will play “a faithful wife who, after growing tired of standing by her devious husband, gets enraged when it becomes clear she has been betrayed.”
This is not Henson and Perry’s first time working together. They starred opposite of each other in Perry’s two other films, “The Family That Prey’s (2008) and “I Can Do Bad All By Myself (2009).
However, that is not all, Lionsgate also announced that Perry will be releasing the second film entitled, “Tyler Perry’s A Medea Family Funeral,” which is scheduled to release on August 3rd.
The synopsis for this film focuses on “a joyous family reunion that becomes a hilarious nightmare as Madea and the crew travel to backwoods Georgia, where they find themselves unexpectedly planning a funeral that might unveil unsavory family secrets.”
Who doesn’t love some Madea.
