Rihanna Does It again! Crop Over style4 min read

So yesterday was Crop Over 2017 in Barbados, and for many persons who may not know, Crop Over also known as Kadooment Day is a traditional harvest festival which began in Barbados, having had its early beginnings on the sugar cane plantations during the colonialperiod. The festival, which attracts tourists from around the world, runs from July and ends in early August with the Grand Kadooment Day.

It’s a lot like our jump up, carnival day where many revellers hit the streets, in fancy beautiful colourful gemmed and feathered costumes and costume bands fill the streets with lots of music, dancing, fireworks and vibes chippin for the entire day. Ofcourse the Barbadian, Pop princess Rihanna touch down and had to join in on the festivities.

After all it’s her home town right! Rihanna has attended the finale parade several times over the last few years – and worn suitably attention-grabbing costumes at each of them.
