Dancehall artiste Khago, who recently cut his locks, is now sporting a beard and revealed that he has been studying the Muslim faith.

He also stated that he used his time away to do some self-searching and he realised that Muslims are good people who are on a mission of peace, he said:

“There is no need to be afraid of Muslims because at the end of the day, we are all worshipping the same God, it’s just left up to interpretation. In a real life, Christians can be violent, sharks are violent and even birds kill so it’s not like all Muslims are violent,”.

Even though he is not yet a Muslim, he is closer to the teachings and this decision to immerse himself into the faith does not contradict his drive to continue releasing hardcore dancehall music. .

As for why he decided to dodge his locks, he stated that he cut it because it was heavy and causing pain to his neck.

But to him, it’s all about having a clean heart and living good like human beings should.
