Kes The Band’s lead singer Kees Dieffenthaller gave many a shock earlier today after a photo of him was posted to Instagram loc-less. Thats right ladies! With a hair cute. Dubbed as the “red Rasta from south”, he’d been known for his signature locs for years–which made him eye-candy with the ladies.

Photographed by celebrity photographer Jonathan Mannion, the photo, which shows off a curly head of hair, was simply captioned:

While shocked, some fans were all for it and some fans took his new look quite well, indicating that they loved the new look. A few noted that he looks like a younger version of American hip-hop artist, Common.
