Dancehall artiste Ishawna has once again found herself in a bad place with many persons after fans online say she disrespected Miss Lou & Jamaica’s History.

On Saturday the singer sent fans into a frenzy when she uploaded a skimpy outfit on her Instagram account.

According to Ishawna whose known for her raunchy dressing, she simply rocks those looks because she refuses to wear ‘Tablecloth’ like late legendary Jamaican poet Louise Simone Bennett-Coverley, more popularly known as Miss Lou.

“Mi nuh dress inna tablecloth like Miss Lou,” Ishawna wrote. “#RipMissLou,” she added, however fans were not pleased, claiming Ishawna passed her place.

Writing and performing her poems in Jamaican Patois or Creole, Miss Lou worked to preserve the practice of presenting poetry, folk songs and stories in patois

She is known to hear her Bandana outfits, Jamaican Festival honors local talent and ingenuity, from poets and performers to entertainers and musicians, all a part of Jamaican culture and can be expressed in song and dance while wearing the traditional clothing.

One user commented: “Sorry ishawna i love u but that caption is a no”, another wrote ‘U a get u self inna hot wata now mind u self girl don’t call up the elders in u young women can cas.’
