Charity Foundation Launched in Memory of Delus4 min read

Almost one year after the death of Dancehall entertainer Delus, a charity foundation will be launched in his memory.
This was confirmed by a post made on Instagram by dancehall artiste Konshens, younger brother to the late entertainer.
The charity will assist persons suffering from depression and anxiety.
The event dubbed ‘Delus Lived’ was postponed as a result of the weekends inclement weather but will also serve as a celebration of the life of the late dancehall deejay, who died in an apparent suicide.
Delus, whose real name was Delmark Spence, reportedly shot himself in the head on June 22, 2016 at the age of 35 years old.
Konshens and Delus emerged on the dancehall scene in the early 2000s as the duo Sojah. Eventually they went solo, but often collaborated on songs like She’s Happy, So High, Wake Up and Call The Police.
Delus was known for the songs Sticky Ah Road, Another Gal, True Love and Come Ova featuring Patra.
