International singer Bruno Mars leads the pack on the weekly recap of top-grossing Hot Tours with sales reported from the final 2017 leg of his 24K Magic World Tour that began in the spring of last year. The singer played 10 shows in Latin American markets during November and December to close out the tour for the year, grossing $37.4 million from 408,443 tickets sold.
The ongoing trek in support of his November 2016 release 24K Magic kicked off with a European leg that ran from March 28 until mid-June.
Since the 24K Magic World Tour began in Belgium on March 28, 2017, the sold-ticket count stretches just over 2 million with an overall gross reaching $200 million. Produced by Live Nation, the trek has included a total of 115 headlining performances so far.
Aside from a handful of appearances in the Americas, Mars’ 2018 itinerary will include stops in Australia and New Zealand in March followed by an Asian leg in April and May. A final run of shows is set for June and July in European markets including a host of festival appearances. The tour is set to wrap at the British Summer Time Festival at London’s Hyde Park on July 14.
