Bridgez Stabbed at Red Hills Road Pan Chicken Spot5 min read

Dancehall artiste Bridgez is grateful to be alive after an altercation on Friday night that left her nursing knife wounds. Bridgez gave her own account of the series of events in which she said that she pulled up to the popular Pan chicken spot on Red Hills Road to purchase food. Another motor vehicle was parked in front of her the other motorist asked her to move to which she responded that she would move once she had purchased her jerk chicken as she couldn’t reverse into uncoming traffic.
Bridgez said, “I gave money to the vendor and told the man I couldn’t back out into traffic. He said, “alright so yu nah move?’, and went back into his car. The next thing I know, the man is using a knife to break out my fog lights and stab up my car tyres. I get out, and immediately he stabbed me, and then he stabbed me in the head and I fell on my back,”
Residents from the area came to her aid and started throwing bottles at the assailant who made an attempt to escape to his car from which he was later forced by a licensed firearm holder; the police were then called. She realized the seriousness of her injuries en route to the Constant Spring Police station and officers transported her to the University Hospital of the West Indies where she received medical attention.
She received a total of 10 stitches for the knife wound in her back and 5 stitches for her head wound. Bridgez is now enraged that her attacker was released by the police after the severity of his actions. She has since allegedly made 3 trips to the police station to file a report.
