Beyoncé and Jay Z Welcome Twins, says Grandpa4 min read

Beyoncé Knowles and Shawn “Jay Z” Carter have welcomed twins in one of the most highly anticipated celebrity births, according to multiple reports Sunday.

There was no immediate word on the gender of the babies or their names. Queen Bey announced her pregnancy in February on Instagram. The superstar singer and her mogul husband, who married in 2008, are also parents to a five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

Well wishers have been flooding social media since Saturday night. One of those reports was granddad himself, Matthew Knowles, who blasted the news on Twitter with a Father’s Day post reading “They’re here!” and “Happy Birthday to the twins!”

Fans said they want to see pictures and know the babies’ gender.

Beyoncé has not posted on social media in about two weeks, fueling recent speculation that the birth of her twins was imminent.
