Blak Ryno Pursues New Career In Acting5 min read

Dancehall artiste Blak Ryno more formerly known as Romaine Anderson, has left Jamaica and has taken up a new role. Instead of being in a recording studio, he has been spending quite alot of time in front of a camera, acting in the YouTube series, ‘Judas Kiss’,which is set in New York.

The former Portmore Empire artiste was recruited to make an appearance in season two of the series that has grabbed theattention of many persons across the Jamaican diaspora. Ryno shared that he is really grateful for the opportunity and it has given him a chance to experience what it feels like to be in the production of a film.

Ryno, who plays the role of stutter gangster called ‘Blaks’, said he used skills he has garnered from recording music to bring the character to life and he further shared that he used his facial expression to get certain messages across just as how he would while recording music.

The series is written and produced by Shakayle Ellis is about a young lady (Robin) who got married to an older man in the hopes of tricking this man so that she can reach further in life and to be well off by migrating to New York.

Ryno is expected to play a significant role in season three, and Ellis said viewers can expect a lot of guest features in future episodes.
