Air Supply Delivers. Target Met at Concert Audition5 min read

Australian rock band Air Supply did more than just deliver a superb set at this year’s staging of the For The Children charity concert. The night’s main act raked in proceeds for the St Ann’s Bay Hospital, as they auctioned off a one-of-a-kind guitar.

The, music instrument, guitar which belonged to band member Graham Russell reportedly went for a whopping US$3000 and was sold shortly after the band announced it was available for purchase.

Other items auctioned on the night included the dress that Tessanne Chin wore on the Voice finale when she won, as well as a pair of spikes signed by the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt.

Air Supply turned in a stellar performance as the evening’s main act, thrilling with songs such as Even the Night’s Are Better, All Out of Love, Every Woman in the World and Sweet Dreams.

Thanking the audience for coming out and supporting the event, the band said they did not hesitate when asked to be a part of the show. They spoke about the importance of quality health care, as they praised the ISSA Trust Foundation for the work they are doing at the St Ann’s Bay Hospital.

The band also encouraged patrons to donate more to the ISSA Trust Foundation, stating that for every donation made they would match it.

The foundation revealed that they had met the target of $15 million and says it will be used to improve conditions at the paediatric ward at the St Ann’s Bay Hospital.
