Jamie Foxx to star in Mike Tyson biopic4 min read

It has been reported that a new biopic about Mike Tyson’s life is in the making and actor and comedian Jamie Foxx will be playing the legendary boxer. According to The Sun, the news was finally confirmed by Mike Tyson himself, saying: “It’s on, as of right now. Jamie Foxx has signed on for it. Filming hasn’t started yet but it’s going to happen.” Mike also spilled a little tea, admitting he thinks people will find the movie “uncomfortable.” He also added: “A lot of people aren’t going to like the things I’ve done in my life.”

Though Mike Tyson is most known for being a force to be reckoned with in the ring, he’s definitely had his fair share of scandals. The boxer served a 6-year prison sentence for a rape conviction back in 1992, and upon making a comeback he infamously bit off fellow boxer Evander Holyfield’s ear. The Sun also confirms, Jamie’s been in the gym with a boxing trainer to really be able to mimic Mike’s signature moves.
