I-Octane targets female fans4 min read

As the anticipation for I-Octane’s forthcoming 2018 ‘Love and Life’ album intensifies, the reggae star has released the ‘Let Me Love You’ single.

Produced by multitalented producer Matthew ‘Esco Da Shocker’ Thompson, the sentimental single displays the softer side of the crooner.

I-Octane recently teamed up with acclaimed local video director Bling Blang for the accompanying visuals. The video was filmed at various locations in Jamaica. The video will premiere on September 17 on WorldAReggae.com.

“The anticipation for the album is good, and we are in the studio doing fine-tuning. I have revisited some of the songs, making use of the delay, and every day the songs are sounding better. People know that something great is going to happen, and so they are enquiring and anticipating,” he said.

I-Octane also said he has been recording fewer songs for other producers in an attempt to give his full attention to the production of the album.

“The summer was more about working and building my brand. It marked 10 years in my career, so right now it’s like I am a new artiste. So I am revamping and looking to climb the mountain, because I have circled the same mountain over the 10 years,” he said.
