Ahead of his performance on Reggae Sumfest Lovers Rock King Beres Hammond will sing the last note at the 2019 staging of Grooving in the Park in New York come June 30.

Hammond will become only the first Jamaican singer and only the second reggae artist in the event’s nine year history to bring the curtains down before an audience of estimated 25,000 attendees inside Roy Wilkins Park in Queens.

Last year reggae artiste  Damain ‘Junior Gong’ Marley brought the curtain down on the 8 hour concert with his reggae hit ‘Welcome To Jamrock.’

Other performers booked to share the Groovin stage with Beres are four-time Grammy nominated, multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter Keyshia Cole, singer Michael Bolton, Third World, Sir David Rodigan and others.
