The producer arrived on the island Sunday afternoon and of course he took to his Instagram account yesterday to upload a series of videos while en route to the airport, “Jamaica I’m on my way! I’m on my way Jamaica… Bless up, Jamaica… Yaad Man thing this you know that” he repeated.
DJ Khaled’s first order of business was to visit Grammy-winning Reggae star Buju Banton and his family at the Gargamel Recording Studio, off Red Hills Road in St Andrew.
DJ Khaled made headlines in Jamaica back in December when he traveled to the island for his ‘top secret’ mission which involved Reggae superstars Buju Banton, Sizzla and Jah Cure.
According to sources close to the DJ Khaled, the original ‘Yaad Man’ is looking to put the finishing touches on his upcoming album “Father of Asahd” due in May and you may even see him on the stage at Buju’s first concert since his return from prison, The Long Walk to Freedom Tour.
